Malal
Pakost's plane, home to his most fervent supporters, his avatar, and overall tied to his essence.
Overall chilly. Terrain is grey to brown, mostly rocky and rolling hills with the occasional black mountain that rises infinitely into the sky. Sky is a mix of orange and reds, with pinpricks of black voids where one would see stars. A single grey featureless sun-like orb provides light, and no matter where one stands or moves, always appears to be directly overhead, casting the shadow directly under everything.
While in this plane, alignment and actions alter reality itself. Good actions cause the temperature to drop, while Evil actions cause it to rise. Lawful creatures become more defined, their interations on the plane strengthening the buildings and constructs that exist here. Chaotic creatures become blurred, their interactions on the plane causing buildings and constructs to decay.
Home to Pakost's Avatar, which lives in a walled city called the Dreadfort. Many of Pakost's devoted followers live in the city, which is a reinforced hotspot on the plane. It stands next to a large boiling lake (Size of the Caspian Sea, or 143,244 mi²), where Crudelis' forces often emerge from and assail the city. Small enclaves dot the plane, where Devils and other LE-aligned creatures and spirits defend against onrushes of enemies seeking to overthrow or weaken Pakost. Millenia of pitched battles across the plane have left many ruins and battlefields. Some are rusted, corroded, and warped but burning hot to the touch. Others, pristine and shiny but encased in blocks of ice.
The inhabitants of this plane are prone to both blind loyalty and treacherous backstabbing, but always with a longer-term goal in mind other than the thrill of it. Most are devils, but a fair number of Lawful-Evil aligned creatures do make their home here- The catacombs of Pakost's Crimson Keep are filled with the spirits and souls of mortals who served and sacrified themselves to Pakost. The stronger willed ones are eventually turned into loyal devils, while weaker souls are subtly reincarnated back on the Material Plane, to spread Pakost's will amongst mortals once more.
