Asmody

Human Republic of Asmody

the Republic of Asmody, home to lush farmlands, the port city of Divell, and the capital fortress of Argon. (The Republic hosts most of the farmland of the Human-held areas. Also fosters a resistance movement, trying to overthrow the Prinicpality for their racist/purity methods.)

The Republic of Asmody is a primarily Human Nation, run by the General Assembly. The General Assembly is currently lead by Primach Horus Lunas, of House Lunas.

Geography

Asmody rests in the Northeastern corner of Plutis. Most of it comprises of gentle, rolling hills and farmland.

Military Structure

The Asmody Military is called "The Militia". The primary force is comprised of "Regiments", which are around 500-1000 soldiers in size. Each Regiment is commanded by a Captain.

There are three types of Regiments: Active, Inactive, and Reserve.

• Active Regiments (3-5 at any given time) are combat ready, full-strength units. There is one deployed at Fortress Argon at any given time, the others are deployed around the country as needed. Thy consist of contracted volunteers.
• Inactive Regiments (1-3 at any given time) are units that are not combat ready. They usually consist of units that have lost a major amount of men due to contract expiration, or are spending time training/recuperating after sustained engagements. They also consist of contracted volunteers.
• Reserve Regiments (1 to upwards of 50) are units that are pulled from the local populace (either volunteers or conscripted). Land Charters require owners to have militias ready and prepared in case of Strife or War. Typically, they are normal folk with little training. They are required to spend one weekend a month doing drills, and every four months, required to spend two weeks doing drills. Reserve Regiments are self-sourced up to the officer level and are overseen by contracted officers.

Asmody Officers (Colonels, Captains, and Lieutenants) are contracted to the state in 5-7 year contracts. Asmody Soldiers (infantry, cavalry, etc.) are contracted for 1-3 years. All are trained at Fortress Argon, with special schooling given to officers.
